While we were on this same adventure to the mysterious land where Eclectus dwell, Lisa and I stumbled onto the rare and previously unheard of, Freakin' French-Fry Lily, (Lilium f. Frenchfryii).   You can see the luscious, greasy French fries growing from the center of the lily.  The second and lighter photo is of the lily, when the tempting and tasty fries are ripe and ready to pick.  They turn sizzling yellow hot and crispy.  No Eclectus has the will power to resist this crunchy, succulent delight.  Good thing this lily only grows in the tropics, or we would have many obese Eclectus with high cholesterol.
